| This is for John. I am now more current than my little brother! Give me a freakin' break. I realize that I hadn't updated since November 30 of last year. What like 10 months. Anyway, I had baby number 2 on March 11. He wanted out. I wanted a new car from John. I lose! Asher James is quite the character. He is huge and quite loud. Perhaps that is a guy thing. Along with spitting up all over the house, passing noxious gas and having the foulest smelling poops! Guys never change. Anyway, not much else is going on. My little brother did pop the question to Ashley Phillips. She is a doll. I am so happy for him but I am really bummed that more then likely they will move far, far away. So sad for us. Now if we could just get my sister married off. Nah, I like having her around. She is my house mate when Ban leaves town. It is like a sorority except for Asher. Oh well. I personally am doing well. Learning how to raise a tempermental 2 almost 3 year old and learning how to let go of having a clean house. I mean I clean but within 1 minute the human tornado that we call Claire has struck. There is no Fujita scale large enough to measure her destruction. I swear every single toy has to be thrown onto the floor. What fun. Well, gotta go. Fixing dinner for my hubby and two "grown children" (ahem, James and Jill)! | | |
| Well, since I am writing about once a month, I guess I have a lot to say. Not really! I do the same thing pretty much every day. We went and had our 24 week check-up today. Baby is good. Hates to have its heartbeat checked. Just about every time we go for an appointment, Claire takes the opportunity to poop. I guess she is letting us know what she thinks of the baby. Actually, she loves the baby and going to my appointments. She likes to lift up my shirt and put her hands on my belly and give the baby kisses. She has felt the baby kick, but she was non-plussed! I asked her today if she wanted the baby to come out and sleep in its bed and she said yes. She then asked if the baby would play toys with her! Currently we are watching God Made Families. It is in a series called Baby Faith. What a life saver. She absolutely loves the videos. She has two and we have to watch them each 2 times a day. Ban and I went out and bought our Christmas present this past weekend. We are so mature that we bought a GameCube. We decided on that system because it is more family friendly. I must say I feel a little ridiculous at my age and with baby #2 on the way buying this thing, but I love to play games. Now if I could only find the time. There really isn't much else happening. Guess that is all for now. | | |
| My little girl turned 2 yesterday. We are officially into the "terrible twos." She is convinced that the world revolves solely around her. She was terribly upset that her grandparents flew away to Orlando without her today. She was also very upset when her Uncle James had the audacity to come for lunch and then leave before she was done playing Dora with him. How dare he. Likely excuse that he had to be at the Dr's office. She has so much to learn. Baby number 2, whom Claire swears is a sister, is really starting to move. I got a really good punch during service yesterday. To my lil bro...Sorry about the Astros, but I did call it. I am good!!!! Too bad I don't do Vegas! | | |
| It has been a while. Busy with an almost two year old and trying to keep my food down. We had our big sonogram today. This kid is very private. Didn't want to be seen at all, not at all like the people person Claire is. Maybe, just maybe I will have a calm, quiet child. We did not find out the sex, but Claire says "sister". We did have one shot of the baby sitting indian style. I sure didn't see any boy equipment. My money is on girl as well. Ban is fine with that. Claire is all the boy that he can handle. Claire's favorite things are football and baseball. She is a really good tackler. Ask Uncle James. Not much else is happening. Busy reading the paper and wishing that I could get to Rose Hill to see Ty Pennington in person. Yeah, I'm married and yeah he just turned 40, but he is still hot!!! Well, that is all for now.

| Well, we are back from Florida. I love my sis and all but it is really a good thing that we do not live in the same house any more. We are so totally opposite. Anyway, the big news at our house is that baby #2 is on the way. Of course, Ban won't accept it until the doctor confirms it, but it is pretty much factual. The baby's due date is March 17. I did it just for you John!!! Not really, I am hoping not to have the baby on that day or the day before. My cousin's birthday is on the 17th and my nephews is on the 16th. I don't want my little baby to share his/her birthday, no matter how wonderful the person might be. Oh and we told Claire that mommy has a baby in her tummy. She is excited but when my grandma asked her today if it was a brother or a sister, she looked at grandma and said "A puppy!" Oh the mind of a 20 month old. I feel fairly confident that I am not carrying a puppy. Not much else is going on. I am tired but other than that life is pretty much normal. | | |
